This gift provides a new set of sheets for your student's bed.

This English Bible is recommended by our Ugandan staff for students starting in Primary 4, as it can help them learn English while providing them with the Word of God. Most sponsored students do not have a Bible of their own.

The Food & Soap Pack includes bags of maize flour (25kg/55lb), rice (25kg/55lb), beans (10kg/22lb), sugar (5kg/11lb) and salt (5kg/11lb) that will provide food and sustenance for a family in Uganda for more than one month. The item also includes 12 bars of soap, which is used to wash hands, bodies, clothes and dishes.   Note: Please order one pack at a time and do not order other food items simultaneously as excess food will spoil.    

The Female Care Kit is highly recommended for all female students age 11 and older. Since the families in our program experience material poverty, adolescent girls often go without the hygienic items they need.   This kit includes sanitary napkins, deodorant, body lotion and lip balm. If your sponsored student is in boarding school, we recommend that 1 kit is given during school breaks to help throughout the academic year. One kit will last about 6 months.

The Hygiene Supply Kit is appropriate for all students. Since the families in our program experience material poverty, the needed hygienic items are difficult to afford. This kit includes petroleum jelly for skin care, toothbrush, toothpaste, and 12 large bars of soap used to wash hands, bodies, clothes and dishes. If your sponsored student is in boarding school, we recommend that 2 kits are given during school breaks to help throughout the academic year. One kit will last about 3 months.

A mosquito net helps to protect students and families from disease-carrying mosquitoes while they sleep. During the rainy seasons, mosquitoes are prominent in Uganda and many children become ill. This net will help to reduce the risk of your sponsored student contracting malaria during the year.

This backpack conveniently carries schoolbooks and supplies. Most students carry their schoolbooks a great distance without a bag, but this will ease their load tremendously! This item is available to order for primary and secondary students.

A calculator helps students in mathematics class, especially as they advance in their education. This item is available to order for primary and secondary students.  

These shoes are suitable for school and church, and are sturdy enough to withstand a student’s activities. Our staff in Uganda will ensure the appropriate sizing for your student. This item is available to order for primary and secondary students.

Most children sleep on grass mats on a hard floor every night. This bed will include a thick foam mattress with sheets and a warm blanket.
