Sports teach valuable life lessons that cannot always be learned at a desk—discipline, teamwork, perseverance, leadership, confidence, and resilience.

At Light Africa Schools, more than 1,300 children come to school each day with hopes and dreams for their future. While they receive an education, they currently have no dedicated sports ground where they can safely participate in physical education or organized sports.

Without a proper field, students miss opportunities to develop physically, socially, emotionally, and even academically.
